County Leitrim Community forum is a body of 26 people who represent the community and voluntary sector in the county . It is made up of representatives from the four electoral areas, the two community networks and nine sectors.Click here for full mebership
The Forum works to represent the voluntary and community sectors, and has representation on many statutory bodies. We lobby government departments and other agencies, on behalf of the voluntary sector. Each county has their own Community Forum and these are recognised as the primary voice for community and voluntary groups (To see the groups click the blue link) within their county. Each county sends delegates to the National Forum, which undertakes a national lobbying role.
