How do I get representation on the Community Forum?
Representation is organised via elections every four years. Representatives are elected from the North Leitrim Network, South Leitrim Network, the four electoral areas and various Community and Voluntary Groups.
Why should I get involved?
By being registered with the Community Forum your group will be on various mailing lists and will receive information from a variety of sources that may be of use to you. Registration will also give you the opportunity of feeding into the system and contributing to the influence of policies at local, regional and even national level.
How do I register?
By contacting the Forum and obtaining a Registration Form. A Registration Form will shortly also be available on the website for downloading.
The Forum would also recommend that all groups register with either the North or South Community Network and become involved by attending the network meetings. The networks are considered useful and effective method of supporting the work of voluntary groups and community development and are an excellent way to facilitate information sharing.
